Well, it's been a crazy two months and that's an understatement. I apologize for neglecting this blog, though, I feel like not many people actually read my content. Which brings me to this quick housekeeping tidbit before I get into the purpose of this post.
What would you guys like me to talk about? What do you want to read about? Do you want to read some of my material? I am genuinely curious, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. You can always reach me via messaging or Twitter. My Twitter link is on my homepage so you can easily reach me on there.
Now with that out of our way, I will continue. I started the summer with a Multi-Cultural Literature course which was amazing. I ended up with a B+ because of some unforeseen circumstance. I had an A the entire semester and was really hoping to keep it. Unfortunately life happens and we can't always get what we want. At least I still passed the class.
Multi-Cultural Literature allowed me to read and explore many different authors, countries, cultures, and writing styles. I read so much rich literature. In previous posts, I asked if some of you would like to read some of my blog posts from the course and you said yes. For those of you who didn't read the posts about it, my course had assignments each week where we were asked to create a literary blog post based off of that week's reading. Additionally, we were asked to create lesson plans as well. So TEACHERS- if you are reading this, feel free to take some of my lesson plan ideas! I used an old blogging site Tumblr to create my literary blog and I am extremely proud of it.
It saddens me that I haven't been able to use Tumblr for RP purposes (Roleplay... and before you sickos think it's something to do with sexual nature, it's not. It's writing with other people as a character.) I miss writing with others especially some close friends that I've met along the way, however this is not the season for that it seems.
I used the blogging platform I initially began seriously writing on and it was bittersweet. I love the product and cannot wait for you all to read my opinions, parallels, and lesson plans.
